Restricted territory

Written by Bruno

For sanctions and regulatory observance reasons, access to 1inch products is restricted in certain territories.

1inch products are available to users in the USA, Europe, Asia and most other regions, except those subject to sanctions or where access is otherwise restricted. Certain products, features or assets may not be available in all jurisdictions, including some US states.

These restrictions are defined in the 1inch Terms of Use: 1inch does not allow interactions of wallets located in, established in or resident of any state, country or region that is subject to comprehensive trade or economic sanctions, embargoes or similar restrictive measures, or with wallets identified as belonging to or affiliated with persons on sanctions lists, including but not limited to those administered by the United Nations, the United States (OFAC), the European Union, the United Kingdom or the British Virgin Islands. This article is a summary only; the Terms of Use prevail.

Access to 1inch products may also be limited in specific countries for local regulatory reasons. See What countries does the 1inch interface support? The location rules in this article apply there too.

1inch does not permit any attempt to conceal or misrepresent your location in order to access restricted products, including through VPNs, proxies, or similar tools. Any such attempt is a breach of the Terms of Use and may result in restriction of your access.

Seeing this message even though you are not located in a restricted territory?

The steps below apply only if you are not located in a restricted territory. If you are located in a restricted territory, changing your apparent location does not entitle you to access 1inch products, and attempting to do so is prohibited.

Your browser or network may be masking your real IP address, which can make it look like you are connecting from a restricted region. Common causes:

  • Safari's Hide IP address feature. Go to Safari > Settings > Privacy and set Hide IP address to from Trackers only, then refresh the page.

  • iCloud Private Relay. If it is set to hide your IP from trackers and websites, your connection may appear to come from a different location. Try turning it off temporarily and refreshing the page.

  • VPNs or privacy extensions used for unrelated purposes. Disable them and reload the page.

If the issue continues, please reach out to customer support. Support cannot grant access to users located in a restricted territory, and cannot advise on methods to alter or conceal your location.
