How to use 1inch on Monad

Add the Monad network, get MON for gas and start swapping on 1inch

Written by Bruno

Monad is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 (chain ID 143). Gas is paid in MON. 1inch supports Classic swaps, Fusion, Fusion+ cross-chain swaps and Limit Orders on Monad. Liquidity comes from Uniswap v2/v3/v4, PancakeSwap v3, Trader Joe v2.2, Balancer v3, Curve and other Monad DEXes.

How-to Guide

1. Add Monad to your wallet

Most wallets add the network automatically when you connect to the 1inch dApp. To add it manually, use:

Network name: Monad
Chain ID: 143
Currency symbol: MON
RPC URL: https://rpc.monad.xyz
Block explorer: https://monadscan.com

2. Get MON for gas

Keep a small amount of MON, about 0.5 MON covers several swaps. Classic swaps and approvals pay gas in MON. Fusion swaps are gasless, the resolver pays the gas. To move funds to Monad, use a Fusion+ cross-chain swap from another chain or a Monad bridge.

3. Open the 1inch dApp and switch to Monad

  • Click the network selector at the top and choose Monad, or select it in the Connect WalletChoose Network window.

  • Connect your wallet and accept the Terms of Service.

The network indicator switches to Monad and you can swap.

4. Start swapping

  • Select the token to swap from and the token to receive, for example MON to USDC.

  • Choose the mode: Classic, Fusion (gasless, MEV protected) or Limit Order.

  • Check the quote and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

What you can trade

MON, WMON, USDC, USDT0 and the other listed tokens, plus any token added by contract address. Liquidity on Monad is still thin. Check the price impact in the quote before a large swap.
