What is Robinhood Chain Fusion?

Robinhood Chain Fusion enables secure, optimized swaps by using the Dutch auction model. When you submit a swap, you create a swap intent — essentially a signed request that invites resolvers to compete for fulfilling your trade. As an EVM network, the process starts off-chain: you sign your intent gaslessly, and resolvers handle on-chain execution.

Key Things to Know

  • You don't need to hold ETH to cover gas for the swap itself — resolvers pay the on-chain execution costs.

  • Your intent is created off-chain by signing an order, then settled on-chain by a resolver.

  • A Dutch auction determines the fill rate, with the price moving over time until a resolver fills it.

  • Resolvers compete to fulfill your swap and submit the final transaction.

What Happens After You Place a Swap Intent?

When using Fusion on Robinhood Chain, you might notice that the swap doesn't happen instantly. That's by design — and it's a core part of the Fusion model.

Here's what to expect:

  • Waiting time: After signing your swap intent, there's a short waiting period while the auction takes place. This is when resolvers bid to offer you the best possible rate.

  • Partial fills: Your swap might be fulfilled partially if the full amount isn't filled during the auction.

  • No fills: There's also a chance your swap may remain unfilled — for example, if market conditions shift or no resolvers bid competitively. In that case, no transaction settles and you keep your funds.

  • Gasless for you: You don't pay upfront gas to place the order. Resolvers cover the on-chain settlement cost, and the swap's cost is reflected in the auction pricing.

Security & MEV Resistance

1inch prioritizes security and fairness for every swap on Robinhood Chain. Our Fusion mode swaps come with built-in MEV resistance, which is crucial for maintaining fair trade execution and preventing potential financial loss with on-chain trading.

To reinforce trust, 1inch keeps all smart contract code fully open-source. This transparency empowers the community and external auditors to inspect, verify, and validate the integrity and reliability of our codebase — ensuring it meets the highest standards of security.

Robinhood Chain swaps are available in the 1inch dApp when you connect a compatible wallet to chain 4663.
